Personal Pediatrics charges $175 per month for children ages 0 to 2, $150 per month for ages 3 to 5, and $120 per month for ages 6 to 21. Families pay a one-time enrollment fee of $100. The practice caps the family rate at $400 per month regardless of how many children enroll. The practice bills fees on the 1st and 15th of each month and accepts credit card, debit card, or direct bank withdrawal.

Members who commit to a full 12 months receive one free home visit within a 15-mile radius and a free telehealth kit valued at $100. The kit includes a pulse oximeter, digital thermometer, digital otoscope, and digital blood pressure monitor. These perks allow families to handle more concerns from home with direct guidance from Dr. Jacobson.

Personal Pediatrics does not contract with insurance plans and operates as an out-of-network provider. The practice does not bill insurance for membership fees. However, the practice encourages members to carry health insurance for hospital visits, lab work, imaging, and medications. Dr. Jacobson recommends a PPO plan to support specialist referrals.

Yes. Dr. Jacobson offers virtual visits via phone, text, or video. Members reach her directly through any of those channels during the day or after hours. The practice offers telehealth kits to members who commit to a 12-month membership, making virtual assessments more accurate at home.

Membership covers well checks, sick visits, same-day appointments, telehealth, vaccines, school and sports physicals, customized wellness plans, and after-hours access. The practice also performs in-office procedures such as laceration repair, wart removal, and abscess drainage. Testing for strep, flu, COVID, and mono is available on-site. Additional charges may apply for some procedures and home visits.

Personal Pediatrics operates two locations in San Antonio. The Stone Oak office sits at 18838 Stone Oak Parkway, Suite 202, San Antonio, TX 78258. The Alamo Heights office is at 242 W. Sunset, Suite 102, San Antonio, TX 78209, which opened in February 2025.

Vaccines are an important part of care at Personal Pediatrics. The practice bills vaccines to your insurance through a third-party vendor when possible. If your insurance does not cover vaccines, the practice offers a cash price or directs families to the health department. Dr. Jacobson follows evidence-based vaccine guidelines.

Personal Pediatrics requires 30 days of written notice to terminate a membership. The practice bills fees on the 1st and 15th of each month, so submitting written notice in advance ensures proper processing.
