Pediatrics by Design charges a monthly fee per child based on age. Newborns through three months are $210 per month, children four months to 35 months are $168 per month, and children three to 17 years are $137 per month. Yes. A membership covers primary care services, but your child still needs insurance for emergencies, hospitalizations, specialist visits, and any labs or imaging ordered outside the practice. A membership is not a substitute for health insurance coverage.

The membership covers all well-child checkups, vaccinations for patients 18 and under, same-day and next-day sick visits, telehealth and phone consultations, school and camp form completion, in-office testing, simple laceration repairs with dermabond, and coordination of specialty care. Members also receive direct access to Dr. Lindsay by text and phone for urgent and non-urgent needs.

No. Pediatrics by Design does not bill insurance for membership fees or office visits. The practice accepts credit cards, debit cards, and FSA payments. When Dr. Lindsay orders labs or imaging, she submits your insurance information for those charges, which fall outside the membership.

Yes. Dr. Lindsay conducts telehealth visits, phone consultations, and text-based photo consultations. For straightforward concerns like a rash, parents can text Dr. Lindsay a photo and follow up by phone. Virtual visits work well for behavioral concerns and many acute issues that do not require an in-person exam.

Every family must complete a free meet-and-greet appointment before enrolling. This short visit helps both the family and Dr. Lindsay confirm the practice is a good fit. Dr. Lindsay's membership panel is currently full, so new families can join the waitlist through the practice's contact page.

Yes. Dr. Lindsay accepts integrative medicine consultation appointments for non-members under 22 years old. An initial 90-minute consultation costs $450 and takes a deep dive into the child's medical history and prior testing. Follow-up visits are $250 for 45 minutes. The practice provides a super bill for potential insurance reimbursement. Labs and imaging bill separately through insurance.

Dr. Lindsay notifies members in advance when she plans to be out of office. For extended absences, she arranges a covering provider to care for patients. She may also use an after-hours nursing triage service. For urgent needs during those times, she may direct families to urgent care.
