Frequently Asked Questions
Each MD2 Seattle physician limits their panel to 50 families. That small number gives your doctor the time and focus to know you and your family in depth. It also means your physician stays available whenever you need them, day or night.
The annual retainer covers all primary care services the office provides. This includes an extensive annual physical, unlimited visits, house and workplace calls, x-rays, routine lab work, and diagnostics appropriate to your age and health status. MD2 Seattle never hands patients a bill for office services.
MD2 Seattle does not lock patients into annual contracts. The only agreement in place binds the practice to you, not you to the practice. You may cancel your membership at any time without any financial penalty. Your physician will also help you transition to another doctor if you ever choose to leave.
Yes. MD2 Seattle gives every member direct access to their physician's private cell phone. You can call any time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. If your physician is unavailable, their partner physician at the practice also gives you direct access.
MD2 Seattle physicians visit patients during hospital stays and coordinate care with specialists across all relevant fields. They act as your advocate and quarterback throughout the hospitalization. If a specialized medical center in another city better serves your needs, your physician arranges that stay and stays involved in your care.
MD2 Seattle explicitly supports highly mobile patients and families. Your physician serves as your primary medical contact no matter where you travel. The practice also prepares you before trips and plans your care while you are away. Patients also receive enrollment in a worldwide medical evacuation service.
MD2 Seattle physicians specialize in adult internal medicine, so they primarily serve adult patients. The right age for a child to transition from pediatric care varies by individual. The physicians welcome conversations with families about that transition and are happy to stay involved even while your child remains under a pediatrician's care.
The annual retainer at MD2 Seattle varies based on family configuration, covering individuals, couples, and families with children. All fees are paid monthly. Contact the practice directly to discuss specific pricing for your situation.
