About
At MedNorthwest, five board-certified physicians deliver evidence-based concierge primary care from Seattle's First Hill neighborhood. Dr. Daniel S. Frank founded the practice in 2002 after a 12-year career in emergency medicine at Swedish Medical Center. The team practices from the Cabrini Medical Tower, close to both Swedish Medical Center and Virginia Mason.
MedNorthwest operates as a strictly independent practice. No hospital system, franchise, or corporate parent controls it. The five-physician team covers a broad clinical scope, from chronic disease management and women's health to dermatologic procedures and joint injections with ultrasound guidance. The practice treats obesity as a metabolic disorder and has treated over 200 patients with GLP-1 medications. A wide referral network connects patients to Providence/Swedish, the University of Washington, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, and other leading institutions when specialist care is needed.

MedNorthwest runs an on-call system where the physicians rotate after-hours coverage. If you have an urgent issue outside of office hours, an answering service pages the physician on call. You reach a real doctor, not a nurse line or answering machine.

The practice connects patients to Providence/Swedish, University of Washington, Virginia Mason, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, Harborview, and major national centers including Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Stanford, and the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
The practice gives prospective patients guidance on how to select a clinician based on their needs and preferences. Each of the five physicians brings a distinct background and set of clinical interests. The practice publishes a detailed guide to help new patients navigate the choice.
