Flora Medical Clinic

Flora Medical Clinic charges a one-time registration fee of $75 per individual or $125 per household. The monthly membership fee is $99 per adult individual over age 17. Two adults in the same household pay $175 per month. Each additional adult household member beyond the first two pays $50 per month. Medicare patients are not part of the DPC program and are billed through insurance.

The monthly membership covers office visits, annual physicals, body composition analysis, diet review, sleep and stress optimization strategies, vaccine counseling, cancer screening recommendations, prescription and supplement review, same-day and next-day sick visits, virtual visits, care coordination, chronic conditions management, acute care, and participation in the HealthStriders Pole Walking Club and monthly lifestyle support group.

Flora Medical Clinic no longer accepts new patients who wish to use commercial insurance. Non-Medicare patients join through the DPC membership at a flat monthly fee. The practice does accept traditional Medicare and all Medigap supplement plans for Medicare patients.

Yes. DPC members receive access to both in-person and virtual visits, including phone and video appointments. This is included in the monthly membership fee at no additional charge.

Yes. Same-day and next-day sick visits are included in the DPC membership. The practice structures its model to keep the panel size manageable so patients can access care quickly when they need it.

The practice offers several structured lifestyle programs, including OsteoFit for bone health, MindFit for stress reduction and mood support, a Diabetes Prevention and Reversal Program, SlumberFit for sleep improvement, PhytoFit for whole plant-based immersion, health coaching sessions, and hands-on cooking classes. These programs run through the sister practice Gain Health, located next door. DPC members receive discounted rates on all additional programs.

Yes. Flora Medical Clinic accepts patients with traditional Medicare and Medigap supplement plans. The practice does not accept Medicare Advantage plans. Medicare patients are billed through insurance rather than through the DPC membership.

Flora's Whole Plantry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that Dr. Kolte helped establish on October 8, 2020. It distributes whole plant food to patients experiencing economic hardship. Food distributions take place on the first four Saturdays of each month from 10:30am to 12:00pm.

Flora Medical Clinic is at 3921 Steck Avenue, Suite A 110 in Northwest Austin, Texas, across from the Anderson High School tennis courts. The practice is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday from 8:30am to 12:00pm.
