About
At Direct Care Physicians of Pittsburgh, five board-certified physicians deliver primary and specialty care across the greater Pittsburgh region. Dr. Kirsten Lin co-founded the alliance with Dr. Natalie Gentile, building on her 2017 launch of Family Matters Direct Primary Care in Hampton Township. Today, DCPP spans four practices across seven Pittsburgh Metropolis counties.
The physicians share a philosophy rooted in continuity, access, and the patient-physician relationship. Each doctor keeps their panel small, a deliberate choice that makes same-day and next-day appointments routine. Appointments typically run 30 minutes and can extend to 90 minutes when a patient needs it. Members pay a monthly fee with no copay for return visits. The practice dispenses medications in-house at wholesale prices and has negotiated discounted rates with national labs and local imaging centers. DCPP also contracts with small businesses as an employee health benefit, waiving registration fees with a one-year agreement. The clinical scope spans family medicine, sports medicine, lifestyle medicine, women's health, mental health, DOT physicals, and a wide range of in-office procedures including ultrasound-guided injections, PRP, and dry needling.
