Dr. Traese Kuhl joined rootsMD in August 2023, bringing nearly two decades of family medicine experience to the Verona practice. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Athletic Training from Gustavus Adolphus College, then completed her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Des Moines University. Her residency in Family Medicine with Obstetrics took place at The Toledo Hospital Family Practice Residency.

After residency, Dr. Kuhl served as Associate Residency Director at both The Toledo Hospital and Community Health Network in Indianapolis before transitioning to full-time patient care. She spent the next 15 years practicing family medicine with St. Cloud Medical Group and CentraCare in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She holds board certification in Family Medicine. Her clinical interests include musculoskeletal medicine, women's health, and office procedures, and she cares for patients of all ages. Dr. Kuhl is a proud mother of three daughters. Her husband practices orthopedics in the Madison area. Outside the clinic, she enjoys adventure travel, hiking, and trying new recipes.
