Gina DeGiovanni, MD grew up in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin, in a household where medicine was a constant presence. Her father worked as a surgeon and her mother as a nurse. She earned both her undergraduate degree and her medical degree from the University of Chicago.
Dr. DeGiovanni began her postgraduate training with a year of General Surgery residency before choosing to shift her focus to Family Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine residency at West Suburban Medical Center in the Chicago suburbs.
