Dr. Amanda Preimesberger founded rootsMD in March 2021, building the practice from a 12x12 temporary clinic into a permanent home at 300 E. Verona Ave. She earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, with a Certification in Athletic Training, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She then completed both medical school and her Family Medicine with Obstetrics residency at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She holds board certification in Family Medicine.
Before launching rootsMD, Dr. Preimesberger spent nearly 13 years at SSM Health-Dean Medical Group in Madison, practicing Family Medicine with Obstetrics. She has served patients in southcentral Wisconsin through pregnancy, pediatric, adult, and geriatric care for more than 15 years. Her clinical interests span sports medicine, prenatal care, office procedures, aesthetics, and women's health. She is passionate about preventive medicine, mental health, and Vitamin D health.
