Dr. Nicole Allen founded Mountain Roots Direct Primary Care in Spruce Pine, NC, bringing board-certified family medicine to the mountain communities of Mitchell and Yancey Counties. S. in Biological Sciences magna cum laude from North Carolina State University, completing minors in Genetics and Health, Medicine, and Human Values. Outside the clinic, she and her husband Gregory raise their two children, Amelia and Henry, tending to their mountain homestead and spending time with family, friends, and their dog Ellie.
