About
At Whole Family Direct Care, Dr. Mark Machalka delivers true full-spectrum family medicine from birth through end of life. He opened the Marshall, Michigan practice in April 2017 after more than a decade in traditional insurance-based primary care. His goal was simple: restore the family doctor-patient relationship that the modern system had eroded. The practice operates two locations, a primary office in Marshall and a second office in Albion.
Dr. Mark caps his panel at approximately 800 patients. Members pay a flat monthly fee of $60, which covers annual wellness exams, well child visits, physicals, chronic care, acute illness treatment, and basic office procedures. The practice performs in-office labs, EKGs, ultrasounds, and a wide range of minor procedures. Members also receive deeply discounted labs and medications. Dr. Mark delivers babies and cares for newborns in the hospital, rounding out a genuinely comprehensive scope of care.
