The membership includes unlimited office and virtual visits, one-hour appointment slots, same-day or next-day scheduling, and direct access to Dr. Italiano by text, phone, or email during business hours. It also covers preventive screenings, acute and chronic care, in-office procedures, InBody body composition analysis, OMT, and lifestyle coaching. Wholesale medications dispensed in-house and discounted labs and imaging are also part of the membership.

Thrive Family Health does not accept insurance or bill insurance for included services. Members pay a flat monthly fee with no co-pays, no deductibles, and no surprise bills. The practice accepts electronic payments only. Members can still use insurance for hospitalizations, emergency care, or specialist visits outside the practice.

Yes. Thrive Family Health currently accepts HRA and FSA payments for membership fees. Starting January 1, 2026, HSA payments will also qualify and will count toward the deductible and out-of-pocket maximum for high-deductible health plans.

Yes. Thrive recommends that members carry a high-deductible or catastrophic health plan to cover hospitalizations, emergency room visits, and specialist care. The DPC membership covers all primary care needs, but it does not replace coverage for major medical events.

Yes. Dr. Italiano offers direct access by text, phone, or email during business hours. Members do not navigate phone trees or wait for nurse callbacks. This direct line is included in every membership at no extra charge.

The practice handles well-child visits, school and sports physicals, pediatric acute care, and adolescent health alongside adult care.

The practice also offers pre-negotiated discounts on labs and imaging, including X-rays, CAT scans, and MRI studies. These rates are typically lower than standard insurance co-pays. Pathology fees for biopsies carry an additional charge.
