Nova Direct Primary Care

Adults 18 and older pay $79 per month. Children ages 0 to 17 pay $29 per month and must have at least one guardian with a membership. All individual memberships require a one-time, nonrefundable $75 enrollment fee. Families with two or more adults each receive a $9 monthly discount, with a one-time $75 enrollment fee per family. Nova also offers college and business membership options available by phone or email.

Nova does not accept insurance. The monthly membership fee covers all visits, in-office procedures, and telehealth contacts with no copays or surprise charges. Members who carry insurance can still use it at outside pharmacies, labs, or imaging centers if they prefer.

Nova cannot currently accept Medicare patients due to contractual conflicts. If you have questions about this, the practice encourages you to reach out directly.

Nova offers same-day and next-day appointments for members. com. Members can also connect with their doctor by text, phone call, or video visit.

The average appointment at Nova runs 45 minutes. That applies to in-person visits. Members also have unlimited visits by phone, video, or in person, with no cap on the number of contacts per month.

Yes. Nova offers both telemedicine visits and house calls at no additional cost to members. Video visits, phone calls, and text messages allow members to reach their physician without coming into the office. House calls give patients the option of receiving care at home when needed.

Nova dispenses medications at 10% above wholesale pricing. Many medications arrive next day and the practice ships them to patients' homes on request. Cash-based labs through independent labs run $5 to $7 each for most common tests. As an example of imaging pricing, an MRI of the knee costs $387.

Nova includes most in-office procedures at no additional cost to members. These include laceration repair, abscess incision and drainage, skin lesion removal, ingrown toenail removal, skin tag removal, cryotherapy, pap smears, EKG, rapid strep testing, urine testing, and more. Skin biopsies carry a separate pathology fee of approximately $65, though the procedure itself remains included.

Yes. Nova works with employers in West Michigan to reduce overall health spending and insurance claims. For larger employers with staff across the state or beyond, Nova partners with other direct primary care practices to build a broader solution. Yes. Members cancel with 30 days notice. Nova does not pro-rate memberships or issue refunds after the cancellation notice period begins.
