Yes. All four physicians at Synergy Private Health see only concierge membership patients. To access Dr. Parks, Dr. Pardo, Dr. Birks, or Dr. Phillips as your primary physician, you must hold an active membership with the practice.

However, members may choose to submit their membership fees to an FSA, HRA, or HSA account at their own discretion. The practice bills your health insurance separately for professional and medical services, just as any medical practice would.

The practice and its physicians are affiliated with the Mass General Brigham healthcare system. All physicians hold staff appointments at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Dr. Parks also holds an appointment at Mass General Hospital. The practice uses Epic for electronic health records, and members access their records through the Patient Gateway portal.

Synergy Private Health uses advanced diagnostics to assess cardiovascular and metabolic health. These include CT Calcium Scores, CT Coronary Angiograms, advanced lipid and lipoprotein analysis, InBody body composition analysis, and continuous glucose monitoring. The practice uses these tools to build a precise, proactive picture of each member's health.

The Wellesley facility offers acupuncture, yoga, meditation, reiki, massage therapy, and breath work on-site. These services are available to members. The facility also features a Somadome meditation pod, which combines binaural beats, color and light therapy, and audio-guided energy healing tracks.

Each physician at Synergy Private Health maintains a panel of approximately 300 patients. This limit allows physicians to deliver thorough, relationship-driven care with meaningful time at every visit.

The four physicians at Synergy Private Health cover for each other when necessary. In the rare event that all physicians are unavailable simultaneously, the practice arranges coverage through another highly qualified internist. Physicians remain personally available to their patients in almost all circumstances.
