MD2 Wellesley

Each physician at MD2 Wellesley serves just 50 families. That limit allows each doctor to know their patients thoroughly and remain genuinely accessible. It also means the practice accepts a limited number of new members at any given time.

The all-inclusive monthly fee covers every primary care service the office provides. This includes an extensive annual physical, unlimited visits, house and workplace calls, x-rays, routine lab tests, blood panels, cardiovascular screening, and cancer evaluations. The practice adds no separate billing for office services.

MD2 Wellesley does not bill insurance or Medicare. Members pay an all-inclusive monthly fee that covers all care and services provided by the office. The practice recommends that members maintain a separate insurance policy for hospitalizations, specialist care, and other outside services.

MD2 Wellesley does not lock members into an annual contract. The only agreement the practice uses reflects its promise to the patient. Members may cancel at any time without any financial obligation, and their physician will help them establish care with another doctor if they choose to leave.

Members receive direct cell phone numbers for both Dr. Brewer and Dr. Wang. They can call either physician at any time, day or night, without going through a front desk or answering service. When one physician is unavailable, the other steps in to provide care.

Yes. Dr. Brewer and Dr. Wang visit their patients during hospital stays and coordinate directly with specialists throughout the admission. They serve as your advocate and primary point of contact, rather than handing your care off to a hospitalist.

MD2 Wellesley manages care for patients wherever they are. Your physician remains your primary contact for any medical need while you travel. If you need care in another city where an MD2 practice operates, your Wellesley physician coordinates with the local MD2 partner. The practice also enrolls all members in a worldwide medical evacuation service.

Dr. Brewer and Dr. Wang specialize in adult internal medicine. The right age to transition from pediatric care varies by individual, and both physicians welcome that conversation. They also encourage families to involve them even when younger children remain under a pediatrician's care.

Dr. Brewer and Dr. Wang maintain long-standing relationships with top specialists across the region through their affiliations with Massachusetts General Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Harvard Affiliated Hospitals. They guide members to appropriate consultants and often accompany patients to those appointments to maintain continuity of care.

MD2 Wellesley covers internal medicine, sports cardiology, sports medicine, lifestyle medicine, obesity medicine, and sports-related concussion management. Dr. Wang brings particular depth in sports cardiology and concussion care. Dr. Brewer focuses on lifestyle and obesity medicine, with a strong emphasis on therapeutic lifestyle interventions.
