At Shreveport Direct Care, Dr. Pat F. Bass III brings more than 20 years of primary care experience to families across the Shreveport-Bossier area. Known to his patients as Ricky, he holds dual board certification in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. That credential lets him serve one family from newborns through grandparents under a single roof. He earned a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Instructional Design from the University of Kentucky. Before launching the practice, he spent two decades on faculty at LSUHSC Shreveport. There he served as the first Chief Medical Information Officer, Program Director for the Med-Peds training program, and Medical Director for the Partners in Wellness cancer screening program. Membership runs between $99 and $147 per month and covers unlimited visits, same or next-day appointments, telehealth, and access to over 1,000 generic medications. Appointments run a full 60 minutes. Dr. Bass treats a wide range of conditions including hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, obesity, memory loss, and anxiety.
