Individual membership rates at Salish Sea Medical start at $2,541 annually for ages 19 to 41. Rates vary by age and household size. Couples and families receive reduced rates when enrolling together. Salish Sea Medical charges no co-pays or hidden fees on top of the annual membership.

Your membership covers all primary care services from Dr. Fleming with no co-pays or additional charges. This includes timely appointments, annual wellness visits, chronic disease management, mental health care, minor procedures, travel medicine, menopause management, lactation support, well child care, and care coordination. Dr. Fleming also provides direct access by phone, text, and email.

The membership does not cover hospitalizations, emergency room visits, radiology, EMS services, prescriptions, lab work, or specialist care. Salish Sea Medical is not a health insurance plan. The practice encourages members to maintain separate health insurance for services outside the practice.

Yes. Salish Sea Medical does not replace health insurance. Your insurance will not pay for services Dr. Fleming provides, but you still need coverage for hospitalizations, ER visits, radiology, and specialists. The practice encourages all members to carry health insurance alongside their membership.

No. The practice does not bill Medicare or any insurance for its services. Patients with Medicare are welcome to enroll as members and receive all services Dr. Fleming provides. Their Medicare coverage remains in place for services outside the practice.

FSA and HRA funds may apply toward your Salish Sea Medical membership. Check with your benefits administrator to confirm eligibility. Employers can also pay membership fees on behalf of employees, and those payments may qualify as a tax-deductible business expense.

Yes. Dr. Fleming offers telemedicine visits and stays available by phone after office hours for urgent concerns. If a situation requires in-person care after hours, she does her best to accommodate members directly and refers to local emergency or urgent care services when needed.

OISHA stands for the Orcas Island Sexual Health Alliance. Salish Sea Medical hosts this clinic, which provides sexual and reproductive health care funded by the Orcas Island Reproductive Health Initiative. The OISHA clinic is open to the broader community and does not require a Salish Sea Medical membership.
