Monthly membership fees vary by age. Children ages 0 to 17 pay $59 per month, adults ages 18 to 49 pay $95 per month, and adults 50 and older pay $115 per month. A one-time $75 enrollment fee covers gathering records and building a new patient chart. Children must have at least one adult member in their household.

Maine Integrative Family Care does not bill insurance for membership or services. The practice accepts Mending Health, formerly known as Taro Health, as an insurance option in lieu of the monthly subscription. For everything else, members pay the flat monthly fee and benefit from significantly reduced costs on medications, labs, and imaging.

Appointments typically run 30 minutes of uninterrupted time with your doctor. When a visit calls for more depth, appointments can extend to 60 or even 90 minutes. The practice prioritizes quality time with each patient over volume.

Yes. Members save 75 to 90 percent on most medications, labs, procedures, and imaging. For example, a TSH thyroid test costs $8 at Maine Integrative Family Care versus $265 in a traditional setting. A Z-pak runs $5, and a chest X-ray costs $100. The practice dispenses many medications directly in the office.

Yes to both. Maine Integrative Family Care offers telehealth visits for convenient remote care. The practice also makes house calls, allowing the doctor to see patients in their own home when that serves the patient best.

Yes. The practice provides free annual colorectal cancer screening to all members using stool-based FIT testing. Current guidelines recommend starting screening at age 45. FIT testing is as accurate as more expensive alternatives and costs members nothing.

Yes. The practice offers group pricing for small businesses and has worked with employers to reduce overall healthcare costs by more than 40 percent. Direct primary care can serve as a cost-effective supplement or alternative to traditional group insurance coverage.

Dr. Hagopian's panel is currently full. Dr. Comella is actively accepting new patients. Prospective patients can book a free meet-and-greet with Dr. Comella through the practice's Calendly scheduling link. Note that Dr. Comella cannot accept patients with Medicare due to federal regulations.
