Little Flower Pediatrics

Monthly membership fees vary by age tier. Sprouts (ages 0 to 23 months) costs $115 per month. Seedlings (ages 2 to 5) costs $95 per month. Buds and Flowers (ages 6 and up) cost $85 per month. Little Flower Pediatrics also offers family maximum plans starting at $270 per month for unlimited enrolled children. All memberships include no copays, no non-covered services, and no surprise costs.

Membership covers all standard pediatric visits with Dr. Walkey, including well-child exams, same-day or next-day sick visits, sports and school physicals, behavioral health consultations, and chronic disease management. Appointments run 30 to 90 minutes. Members also receive integrative medicine consults at no added cost. Vaccinations are not included but the practice handles billing through Vaxcare or the VFC program.

Little Flower Pediatrics does not accept insurance for membership fees. The flat monthly fee covers all included services directly. For vaccinations, the practice bills through Vaxcare so your insurance handles immunization costs. The VFC program covers vaccines for children on Medicaid or without insurance.

Yes. Members call or text Dr. Walkey directly. Little Flower Pediatrics operates without the call-center layer common in traditional practices. This direct line of communication is a core part of the DPC model.

Yes. All membership tiers include same-day or next-day sick visits. Members contact Dr. Walkey directly to schedule. The practice also offers same-day urgent care through its nurse practitioner for non-members.

Yes. The practice's family practice nurse practitioner, Rose, runs urgent care visits for patients of all ages, from newborns to adults over 99. Urgent care visits cost $160 for non-members. Rose also sees adult members of enrolled children through the Flowers tier.

Yes. Members living in Ave Maria receive house calls directly to their driveway. Families outside town limits meet Dr. Walkey in the Mobile Clinic Van at the main office at 5072 Annunciation Circle, Ave Maria, FL 34142.

The practice names its tiers after plant growth stages. Sprouts covers infants from birth to 23 months. Seedlings covers ages 2 to 5. Buds covers ages 6 to 17. The Flowers tier serves patients 18 and older, including university students and adult family members of enrolled children. AMU students receive discounted membership fees.

Yes. Non-members can access urgent care visits, school and sports physicals, phlebotomy, DOT physicals, and medical ear piercing. Frenectomy and lactation consultations are also available to non-members at standard pricing. Members receive deeply discounted rates on services not included in membership.

Yes. The practice offers medical ear piercing using the Blomdahl medical-grade jewelry system and also via traditional needle piercing performed by Dr. Walkey. All products in the Blomdahl system are sterile, individually packaged, and nickel-free. Members receive a discounted rate on this service.
