About
At Grassroots Healthcare Foundation, Dr. Jerry Michael Cline delivers full-spectrum primary care to all ages in Fairfield, California. He founded the 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2018 after retiring from 29 years of service in the US Air Force, including 21 years as a physician. His goal was to build affordable, high-quality, patient-centered care for everyone in Solano County, one of California's most underserved regions. The foundation operates entirely on donations and grants, with 100% of its budget directed to patient care. Every staff member volunteers their time.
Grassroots runs a hybrid model with two tracks: a standard DPC membership and a Grassroots Concierge tier for those who want after-hours and immediate access. 2 million in ER costs annually. The foundation also runs the Afghan Refugee Clinic, a monthly mobile outreach launched in 2022. Dr. Cline applies a bio-psycho-social-spiritual model across family medicine, obstetrics, functional medicine, and men's health. The practice is faith-based and welcomes patients of all backgrounds and beliefs.
