Yes. All cardiology noninvasive examinations performed in the office are part of the annual membership fee. These include Electrocardiogram, Doppler Echocardiogram, Exercise Stress Echocardiogram, Pacemaker Analysis, and ICD Analysis. Members pay no additional co-pays for these services.

Medicare and secondary insurance do not reimburse the annual membership fee at Cooper Concierge Medicine. If you carry a health savings plan and are not a Medicare patient, it may cover certain fees. The practice recommends maintaining separate health insurance for hospital bills, specialist consultations, medications, lab work, and radiology services.

Each family member requires their own membership. However, spouses and additional family members receive a joint discount on their annual fees.

Yes. Members have 24/7 direct access to Dr. Cooper, including his personal mobile phone number. Same-day and next-day appointments are available for both urgent and routine concerns.

Yes. Cooper Concierge Medicine uses telemedicine technology to coordinate care with out-of-town physicians and specialists abroad. Dr. Cooper speaks Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and French, which supports international care coordination for patients with providers overseas.

Yes. Cooper Concierge Medicine offers second opinion consultations and executive physicals that do not require an ongoing membership. The executive physical includes a comprehensive review of patient history, a full physical examination, an EKG, and lifestyle and care plan recommendations.

Prospective patients can contact the practice by phone or through the online prospective patient form. The staff will schedule a no-obligation visit so you can meet Dr. Cooper in person and ask questions before committing to a membership.

Yes. Dr. Cooper personally handles hospital admissions and follow-up visits at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, which sits within one block of the practice. He does not hand off hospitalized patients to a separate hospital team.
