About
At Carolinas Pediatrics and Primary Care, two husband-and-wife physicians deliver pediatric and adult primary care under one roof. Dr. Uma Periyanayagam and Dr. Parmar Parmar opened the practice in 2021 as the first direct primary care clinic in Huntersville, NC. Both hold double board certifications, and together they serve patients from birth through age 100 and beyond. The practice runs on a monthly flat-fee membership with no copays, no deductibles, and no surprise bills. Members reach their doctor by text, call, FaceTime, email, or the patient portal within 24 to 48 hours. Same-day sick visits and a drive-through sick option keep acute care simple. Beyond primary care, the practice runs a Pediatric Obesity Clinic, an adult medical weight loss program using GLP-1 therapies, and a Nesting/Fourth Trimester program for new and expectant parents. Members also receive complimentary InBody 570 body composition scans and discounted access to medical aesthetics services.
