Hughes founded the Charlotte practice in 2016, drawing on more than two decades of experience as a board-certified family physician. Dr. Jeffrey Cardwell and Dr. Tabetha Simpson each bring deep roots in the Charlotte community to the team.

The practice covers a broad clinical range: family medicine, chronic disease management, mental health care, hormone evaluations, weight management with semaglutide and tirzepatide, dermatology, and laser skin treatments using PiQo4 technology. The doctors see patients of all ages and offer same-day visits, telemedicine, and house calls. Pricing stays transparent throughout. Patients always know the cost of any test or procedure before it happens. The practice does not bill insurance and does not participate with any commercial plan, Medicare, or Medicaid.
