About

At Care Hop Direct Primary Care, three physicians with decades of combined emergency and urgent care experience deliver flat-fee primary care to Norfolk, VA residents. Alvaro Zeballos MD, Paulo Gazoni MD, and Tanvir Dara MD co-founded the practice after building BetterMed Urgent Care together. They launched Care Hop's first clinic to serve the Virginia Beach and Norfolk area. Future locations in Charlottesville and Arlington are already in planning. The practice runs three membership tiers to fit different needs. The Access Plan starts at $60 per month with $40 per visit. The Core Plan runs $99 per month and covers unlimited visits, telehealth, and a broad panel of lab tests. The Premium Plan at $149 per month adds unlimited "At Your Door" visits, where a provider travels to the patient's home or workplace. The At Your Door service includes mobile tracking, onsite testing, and IV fluid and anti-nausea treatment. Care Hop handles all scheduling and payments online through Elation EMR and Hint Health platforms. The practice also offers business memberships, giving small and mid-sized employers a dedicated portal to manage staff enrollment and billing. Members 3 years of age and older qualify for care. Care Hop does not accept Medicare patients but does accept FSA and HSA payments.
