Every membership includes 45-minute appointments, same-day or same-week urgent care access, a personalized health and wellness plan, care coordination with specialists, 24/7 physician availability by phone and email, and access to additional in-office testing. Cardiology members also receive advanced cardiovascular and metabolic testing, a cardiovascular risk assessment, and a wellness and longevity assessment. Primary Care members receive advanced metabolic testing, a gait and mobility assessment, and a wellness and longevity assessment.

Yes. HeartWell Health Group accepts Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Humana, Medicaid, Medicare, Sentara Health, Tricare, and United insurance plans. The practice files claims directly with your insurer for all applicable medical services. Members remain responsible for co-pays, deductibles, and other out-of-pocket costs tied to those services.

No. The membership fee does not substitute for health insurance or Medicare. HeartWell Health Group recommends that all members maintain their existing coverage. The membership fee covers specific non-clinical services and enhanced access not covered by insurance.

Yes. Dr. Persaud offers telehealth visits for both cardiology and primary care. Direct-pay telehealth visits run $180 for cardiology and $90 for primary care for non-members.

Yes. Dr. Persaud performs home visits that include a comprehensive physical exam, EKG, and heart ultrasound at the patient's location. Home visits run 45 minutes. For members and insured patients, the practice bills home visits through insurance. Direct-pay home visits start at $350, and a bundled package that includes an ECG and limited echocardiogram costs $525.
