About

At Atlas MD, four board-certified physicians deliver direct primary care across two Wichita locations. Dr. Josh Umbehr founded the practice after completing his family medicine residency at Wesley Medical Center. He built Atlas MD to practice medicine on his own terms, without insurance intermediaries standing between doctor and patient.

The East Office serves patients in northeast Wichita, while the West Office sits in the Reflection Ridge Office Park on 21st Street. Each physician caps their panel at around 500 patients. Membership fees start at $10 per month for children and $50 per month for adults aged 20 to 44. The practice offers same-day scheduling, house calls, and visits lasting an hour or more. Members reach their doctor by phone, text, email, or webcam at any hour. Atlas MD also provides wholesale labs, deeply discounted prescriptions, and in-office procedures including EKG, DEXA scan, cryotherapy, and laceration repair, all included in the membership.
