Dr. Trey WilliamsMD, MBA

Trey Williams, MD, MBA is a board-certified pediatrician and the founder of The Peds MD. He completed his medical training in Charleston, South Carolina and finished his residency in Burlington, Vermont. After residency, he helped build a pediatric practice in Charlotte before joining a health tech startup as a virtual care expert. That background in telehealth directly shaped how he designed The Peds MD.

Dr. Williams brings ten years of pediatric experience to his work. He takes a holistic, root-cause approach to kids' health, with particular interest in gut health, metabolism, functional health labs, allergy management, mental health, and developmental pediatrics. He holds an MBA alongside his medical degree, reflecting his drive to rethink how pediatric care reaches families. He and his wife Lindsey, an anesthesiologist, met during medical training in Charleston and now raise two toddlers and two dogs in Charlotte. Families who know him often say he feels less like a doctor and more like a knowledgeable friend.
