The Peds MD

Memberships start at $100 per month. The Peds MD offers three tiers: Primary Care (PC), Sick Visit Only (SVO), and Virtual Only (VO). Annual payment options are available with a 5% savings. The practice also offers non-member pricing for text consults ($79), daytime virtual visits ($149), and in-person visits ($349).

The Primary Care membership covers house call well-child checkups, school and sports physicals, vaccines, functional health labs, unlimited virtual visits, 24/7 direct text access to Dr. Williams, and a bank of included in-person sick visits. Members also receive a Telehealth Enhancement Kit with a high-resolution ear and throat camera, pulse oximeter, and thermometer.

The Peds MD does not bill insurance directly for membership fees or visits. The practice can provide paperwork for families to submit to their own insurance. Dr. Williams uses insurance for labs and x-rays when possible. Membership fees and visit costs qualify for FSA and HSA reimbursement.

Yes. The Virtual Only (VO) membership serves families anywhere in North Carolina or South Carolina who fall outside the in-person service area. VO members get 24/7 text access, unlimited virtual visits, and the Telehealth Enhancement Kit. In-person house calls are available within 30 miles of the 28203 zip code, with a convenience fee for visits 15 to 30 miles out.

All members text Dr. Williams directly through Spruce Health, a HIPAA-compliant communication platform. Primary Care and Virtual Only members can text about any health question. Sick Visit Only members use the text line specifically for sick concerns. Non-members can reach the practice by phone or text during business hours only.

Yes. Every membership tier includes unlimited virtual visits through Spruce Health. The practice also sends members a Telehealth Enhancement Kit so Dr. Williams can assess ears, throats, oxygen levels, heart rate, and temperature remotely with accuracy.

No. The Peds MD takes a vaccine-friendly approach but does not require vaccination. Dr. Williams offers alternative vaccine schedules and non-combo vaccines for families who prefer a different approach. He works with each family to find a plan that fits their comfort level.

Yes. The Peds MD offers Newborn Care Services staffed by medically-trained overnight providers. This service gives new parents supported rest in the newborn period. Families can reserve a spot before their due date, and the practice asks for reservations more than 30 days out.

The practice currently operates a waitlist due to panel size limits. Families can join the waitlist through the Peds MD website. Once a spot opens, the practice reaches out to begin onboarding. The waitlist fee counts toward the first month's membership payment.
