Dr. Shaleah Jones earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Puget Sound, where she was a Phi Beta Kappa honoree, Academic All American, and Varsity Volleyball Captain. She graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2003 and completed a Family Medicine residency with an obstetrics emphasis at a rural training program in Greeley, CO. She served as Chief Resident from 2005 to 2006.

After residency, Dr. Jones spent five years as an attending physician in Broken Bow, NE, practicing broad-spectrum family medicine.
