About
Dr. Jacques Bouchard is a board-certified family physician and the founder of Link Family Medicine in Moscow, Idaho. S. A. in Biochemistry, while competing on the Men's Gymnastics team. He went on to complete his medical degree at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, where he also served in the US Navy. His residency training in Family Medicine took place at the Puget Sound Family Medicine Residency at US Naval Hospital Bremerton, Washington, and he completed that training in 2015. His first post-residency duty station was Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan.
Dr. Bouchard served eleven years in the Navy before transitioning to civilian practice in Moscow. He joined the teaching faculty at the University of Idaho WWAMI program, where he mentors student physicians and leads clinical skills instruction. He pursued additional training in Medical Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine through the Academy of Pain Research. His clinical passions include acupuncture, herbal medicine, preventive care, lifestyle modification, and evidence-based approaches to complex conditions. He and his wife Katie, a Moscow native and University of Idaho graduate, have three daughters: Evie, Mina, and Lulie. He grew up north of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and values community diversity as one of its greatest strengths.
