Dr. Robert TingMD

Family Medicine

at Ting Family Medicine — Moscow, ID

About

Dr. Robert Ting grew up in Niles, Ohio, where his father's career in medicine first drew him toward the profession. He completed undergraduate studies at Saint Louis University and Miami University, then earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio. A pull toward the West led him to Idaho State University Family Practice Residency, where he trained in rural family medicine.

Dr. Ting established his Moscow, Idaho practice in August 1998. For his first two decades, he delivered full-spectrum family medicine that included high-risk obstetrics before shifting his focus to outpatient care. Now in his 28th year of practice, he founded Ting Family Medicine to reclaim time with patients and practice medicine the way he envisioned it early in his career. He is passionate about the full range of primary care, from chronic disease management and geriatric care to pediatrics and women's health. Outside the clinic, he is a father of six who fly fishes, rafts, paddleboards, forages for wild mushrooms, plays and coaches hockey, snowboards, and plays ping pong, tennis, and golf.
