Dr. Scott Groesch grew up in Springfield, Illinois, and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, graduating summa cum laude. He attended Washington University School of Medicine on a Distinguished Student scholarship and earned election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. His Internal Medicine residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital led to an appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Washington University. He brought that academic foundation into 27 years of clinical practice with Maryland Medical Group before joining Personal Physicians in March 2025.
