About

Dr. Daniel R. Jasper earned his BA in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin before completing his medical degree at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He trained in Internal Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where the program selected him as Chief Resident. He has held a faculty appointment as Instructor in Clinical Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine since 1997, the same year he earned his Diplomate certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.

From 1998 to 2013, Dr. Jasper built his career at Barnes West Medical Consultants. In early 2013, he launched his concierge practice in Creve Coeur to focus entirely on what drew him to medicine: keeping patients healthy, not just treating illness. His clinical interests span nutrition, metabolic health, heart health, brain health, healthy aging, sleep, and emotional well-being. He keeps his practice intentionally small so each patient receives the time and attention a thorough wellness plan requires. He also publishes a patient health newsletter covering a wide range of preventive health topics for what he calls the Well-Read Patient.
