Dr. Robin Kindig grew up in Louisville and graduated from Seneca High School as valedictorian in 1996. She studied Chemistry at the University of the South, joining the Order of the Gownsmen in her first semester. She went on to the University of Kentucky College of Medicine for her MD. Her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Louisville earned her the chief resident role along with both research and teaching awards. She continues as a gratis faculty member at the University of Louisville Medical School.
Dr. Kindig built her early career at Baptist Health starting in 2009, working across urgent care and primary care settings. She served as medical director of an urgent care and ACO direct admission team in Paducah before returning to Baptist Health's LaGrange location in 2016. She opened MedLou in March 2019 to build a practice focused on patients rather than paperwork. Married with two young sons, she runs the practice alongside the support of her family.
