Dr. Nicole Strecker was born and raised in Louisville, attending St. Gabriel and then Sacred Heart Academy. She earned an athletic scholarship to the University of Denver, where she competed as a gymnast in every meet across all four years and helped her team reach the NCAA Division I Championships twice.
She completed medical school at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, earning induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Her residency in combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics took place at the University of Louisville, bringing her back home. She then spent years in primary care, first in private practice and later in a hospital-based system. Dr. Strecker holds dual board certification in both internal medicine and pediatrics. She is passionate about caring for patients of all ages and building long-term relationships with families. She lives in Louisville with her husband Fred and their three sons.
