Hope Engsberg, MD FAARM ABAARM, serves as Medical Director of AgeWellMD and brings an unusually broad clinical foundation to functional and integrative medicine. Dr. Engsberg graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine in 1984. She completed her Anesthesiology Residency at Baylor School of Medicine in Houston in 1987, then pursued two fellowships at Baylor under Dr. Michael DeBakey in Cardiac and Transplant Anesthesiology and Advanced Anesthesia Clinical Care. After Baylor, she served in the United States Army and earned the rank of Major. She holds board certification from both the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. She also earned the designations of Fellow and Advanced Fellow in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine through the Metabolic Medical Institute. Dr. Engsberg holds membership in the International Peptide Society, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and several state and national medical societies. Her clinical approach goes beyond symptoms, examining nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, sleep, stress, toxins, and other pillars of health to build plans that address each patient as a whole person.
