Dr. Kenton BruiceM.D.

Preventive Medicine

at Denver Hormone Institute of Colorado — Denver, CO

About

Dr. Kenton Bruice grew up in Santa Barbara, California, and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where his mother taught his organic chemistry course. That experience shaped his deep respect for women's health, which led him to pursue obstetrics and gynecology. He completed his internship at the University of Kansas and his OB/GYN residency at the University of Mississippi. He then earned his medical degree from Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans.

Dr. Bruice began practicing OB/GYN in Aspen in 1998 and started working with bioidentical hormones early in his career. In 2004, he joined the faculty at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado to deepen that work. By 2005, he had stepped away from general OB/GYN practice entirely to found the Aspen Hormone Institute of Colorado. He held board certification in OB/GYN for more than 20 years. When the American College of OB/GYN restricted him from treating male patients, he chose his patients over his certification and expanded his care to men. Today, Dr. Bruice ranks as the leading prescriber of bioidentical hormones in Colorado. His clinical focus spans BHRT for women, testosterone replacement therapy, hormone pellet therapy, HGH peptide therapy using sermorelin and ipamorelin, perimenopause and menopause treatment, thyroid and adrenal hormone evaluation, and medically supervised weight loss with GLP-1 medications. He sees patients from across the country at his four locations in Denver, Aspen, Centennial, and St. Louis.
