AgeWellMD does not accept insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. The practice operates on a cash-based model, with payment due at the time of each visit. AgeWellMD accepts cash, check, all major credit cards, and HSA and FSA cards. The practice will provide appropriate documentation so patients can submit their own claims to their insurance carrier if they choose.

Dr. Engsberg begins every new patient relationship with a comprehensive clinical assessment. She uses baseline testing through blood, urine, and saliva to understand each patient's individual hormonal and metabolic picture. From those results, she builds a customized protocol that may combine BHRT, IV Nutrition, Peptide Therapy, supplements, or other therapies. No two treatment plans look the same.

Yes. AgeWellMD offers a free 20-minute initial consultation with Dr. Engsberg. This gives prospective patients a chance to discuss their symptoms and goals before moving forward with a full assessment and treatment plan.

Hormone pellet therapy delivers bio-identical hormones subcutaneously, providing steady hormone levels without the fluctuation that can accompany creams or other delivery methods. Most patients return for treatment every four to six months, depending on their individual needs and how their body responds. Dr. Engsberg determines the timing and dosage based on each patient's baseline testing and clinical assessment.

Yes. AgeWellMD regularly serves out-of-town and international patients. Some patients travel to the Cherry Creek office for in-person treatments like hormone pellet therapy and carry take-home therapies such as creams or progesterone back with them. The practice welcomes patients from anywhere who want access to Dr. Engsberg's care.

AgeWellMD uses the Power2Patient portal to give patients 24/7 access to their lab reports and appointment information. Patients can also send secure messages directly to Dr. Engsberg and patient concierge Kathy Vieth through the portal. Kathy Vieth provides personalized support to each patient from the first appointment onward.

AgeWellMD charges a $50 cancellation fee for any appointment cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, as well as for missed appointments. The practice asks that patients provide adequate notice so that appointment times remain available for other patients.

Dr. Engsberg selects these partners based on product quality and their fit within individualized treatment protocols.
