Dr. Frank Dumont grew up in Mt. Washington and raised his family in Anderson Township, where he has practiced medicine for decades. His path to medicine began in May 1977, when he survived the Beverly Hills Supper Club fire. That experience led him to volunteer with the Anderson Township Fire Department. He completed paramedic training at University Hospital from 1978 to 1979 and became an employed firefighter in Anderson Township in 1980.
Dr. Dumont enrolled at the University of Cincinnati while working for the fire department and raising his family, graduating in 1985. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1990 and completed his Family Medicine residency and Chief Residency at the University of Cincinnati in 1993. Most of his career has run through private practice. For the seven years before joining McGilligan MD, he conducted home visits with Visiting Physicians. He joined McGilligan MD on July 1, 2021. Dr. Dumont sees patients from infants to senior adults and builds his relationships through active listening. Outside the office, he enjoys music and time with his six grandchildren.
