Dr. Katherine Dumont grew up in Anderson Township and built her career with the goal of returning there to practice. She earned a BS in Biology with a minor in English Literature from the University of Dayton, then graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2004. Her residency training in Family Medicine took place at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan, after which she returned to Cincinnati to practice as a family doctor.

Dr. Dumont spent her early career in Anderson Township, first alongside her father Frank Dumont and later within The Christ Hospital Health Network. After twelve years in traditional primary care, she joined McGilligan MD to practice the patient-centered medicine she values most. She believes strong patient relationships are the foundation of good primary care. Outside the office, she enjoys board games, fitness through Pure Barre, crime dramas and detective novels, and browsing the mystery section at Joseph-Beth Bookstore.
