Wand Health charges $200 per month for membership. The membership runs month-to-month with no long-term contract. Members can cancel with 30 days' notice. There are no copays and no surprise fees built into the membership.

The membership covers comprehensive primary care visits, same- or next-day appointments, telehealth, home visits, and direct access to Dr. Wand by call or text. In-office procedures such as skin biopsies, cyst removal, joint injections, suturing, and wound repair also fall within the membership. Labs, imaging, medications, and specialist services are generally separate, though Wand Health offers discounted rates on those items.

Wand Health does not bill insurance for membership fees. However, patients can use insurance for labs, imaging, and medications. Dr. Wand also helps navigate insurance coverage and medication access programs when relevant, including for HIV PrEP medications.

Members contact Dr. Wand directly by call or text. Wand Health does not route patient communication through a call center or nursing line. Dr. Wand handles questions, follow-ups, and concerns personally.

Appointments typically run 30 to 60 minutes. Wand Health also offers same- or next-day availability for acute concerns, so members rarely need to visit urgent care for common illnesses or injuries.

Yes. Dr. Wand offers telehealth visits and home visits for California patients. Both options give members flexibility when coming into the office is inconvenient or unnecessary.

Wand Health serves adult patients in California. The practice holds a particular clinical focus on LGBTQ+ patients, those seeking HIV prevention or treatment, and anyone who wants a primary care physician with expertise in sexual health, metabolic health, mental health, or addiction medicine. Dr. Wand also sees Spanish-speaking patients.

Wand Health offers a $250 emergency PEP care package for patients with a potential HIV exposure. The package includes an urgent consultation, a 28-day PEP prescription, and dedicated follow-up visits at four and twelve weeks. PEP must start within 72 hours of exposure. Patients who cannot reach Dr. Wand quickly should go directly to an urgent care center or emergency department.
