Membership costs $139 per month for adults ages 18 to 64. Children ages 1 to 17 enroll at $59 per month and must have a parent or legal guardian as an active member. A one-time registration fee of $149 per member covers new patient onboarding, medical record review, account setup, and initial care coordination. Membership covers most primary care services, including unlimited office and telehealth visits, annual physicals, wellness exams, school and sports physicals, chronic disease management, acute care visits, mental health support, medication management, and preventive screenings. Dr. Nguyen also offers nutrition counseling and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. Lab work and imaging are available at wholesale pricing and billed separately.

The membership does not cover hospitalizations, emergency room visits, gynecology, obstetrics, surgeries, or specialist consultations. The cost of labs, medications, and imaging studies falls outside the membership as well, though Walnut Health DPC passes wholesale pricing on to members. The practice also does not prescribe chronic benzodiazepines, opioids, or ADHD medications.

Walnut Health DPC does not bill insurance for membership fees or primary care visits. Many members carry insurance or a health-sharing plan alongside their DPC membership for coverage of hospitalizations, specialist visits, and other services outside the practice's scope. Beginning in 2026, qualifying DPC memberships may be payable using HSA funds under updated federal rules.

Walnut Health DPC is not currently enrolling Medicare beneficiaries. Dr. Nguyen has not yet completed the Medicare opt-out process. Medicare patients may join the waitlist and will receive notification if and when enrollment opens.

New patients start with a free 30 to 60 minute meet-and-greet appointment with Dr. Nguyen. This visit helps both parties confirm the practice is a good fit. If it is, the practice sends an enrollment invitation. After joining, patients schedule an establishing care visit to review medical history and set health goals.
