W Geriatrics offers two membership levels. The Ambulatory Level costs $200 per month and includes unlimited visits, direct access to Dr. Wong, all practice services, and two home visits per year. The Home Care Level costs $300 per month and includes ten home visits per year. It suits patients who have significant difficulty leaving their home. Additional home visits beyond the included allotment cost $220 each. The practice requires an initial three-month commitment, after which membership runs month-to-month.

W Geriatrics does not bill insurance for Dr. Wong's services. The monthly membership fee is an out-of-pocket expense. The practice welcomes patients with any insurance plan or no insurance at all. Dr. Wong recommends that members maintain their own insurance to cover labs, medications, specialist visits, and hospital stays.

Yes. W Geriatrics offers same-day and next-day availability for office, home, and video visits. Appointments run 30 to 60 minutes with little to no wait time. Members reach Dr. Wong directly by phone, text, or email without going through a front-desk gatekeeper.

W Geriatrics serves adults age 60 and older in the Pasadena area. Dr. Wong holds board certification in both Geriatric Medicine and Internal Medicine, so she handles both general primary care and conditions specific to older age. Patients do not need a prior geriatric diagnosis to join.

The monthly membership covers chronic condition management, sick visits, geriatric assessments for memory loss, falls, and mood changes, medication review, care coordination, on-site labs, wound care, skin lesion removal, ear cleaning, nail care, and palliative care. The membership carries no co-pays or surprise fees. All visits and services fall under the flat monthly rate.

Yes. Dr. Wong coordinates directly with specialists, hospital and emergency room teams, and family members involved in a patient's care. She follows up on specialist recommendations and speaks on her patients' behalf during hospital visits. She also reaches out to loved ones, if the patient wishes.

W Geriatrics currently has new enrollments paused. Prospective patients join the waitlist by scheduling a free virtual meet-and-greet with Dr. Wong. The meet-and-greet gives both sides a chance to connect before committing to care.

W Geriatrics does not prescribe chronic controlled substances. Patients who already take long-term narcotics, sedatives, stimulants, or controlled sleep medications need a pain specialist, psychiatrist, or sleep specialist to manage those prescriptions. Dr. Wong considers controlled substances for acute conditions and palliative care on a case-by-case basis.

Dr. Wong does not hold privileges as a primary physician in hospitals or nursing homes. During those stays, she maintains close contact with the treating care team for continuity. She also prepares members with a complete health summary and medication list to bring to any urgent care or emergency visit that occurs while she is unavailable.
