No. Thornville Direct Osteopathic Care does not bill insurance for membership services. The practice accepts patients with any type of insurance or none at all. Dr. Smith recommends patients carry at least a high-deductible plan to cover emergencies, hospitalizations, and specialty care beyond primary care.

Yes. The practice offers osteopathic manipulative medicine to both members and non-members. DPC members receive a discounted rate of $60 per session. Non-members are welcome to schedule OMM consultations, and the practice provides superbills for OMM patients to submit to their insurance.
