Solace Health charges a monthly retainer of $100 per month or $300 per quarter for patients aged 26 and older. Patients under 26 pay a discounted rate of $67 per month or $200 per quarter. Patients enrolled in the Suboxone opiate replacement therapy program pay $150 per month or $450 per quarter, regardless of age. Retainer fees paid for unused months are fully refundable.

Solace Health does not accept insurance for the monthly retainer. However, medications, diagnostic tests, imaging, and specialist referrals may go through your insurance. The practice provides a superbill every six months for patients with private insurance who want to seek out-of-network reimbursement. Medicare patients are responsible for a 20% co-pay.

Yes. Solace Health guarantees same-day appointments for urgent matters. Dr. Shilland also keeps his patient panel well below typical family practice levels, which supports that level of access. Appointments run a full hour, and patients are seen on time without waiting room delays.

The retainer covers primary care, preventive care, acute illness and injury visits, chronic disease management, women's health and family planning, men's health, dermatology and allergy management, psychiatric medical management, sports medicine, and minor surgical procedures. Phone and email visits and an annual physical are also included. Osteopathic manipulative treatment is available on a separate fee-for-service basis.

Dr. Shilland personally acts as a liaison for specialist referrals. He coordinates medical records and handles prior authorizations on behalf of his patients. This advocacy role is part of what the retainer covers.
