About

At Pediatric Housecalls, board-certified pediatricians travel directly to families across greater Charlotte, greater Raleigh, northern Virginia, and coastal South Carolina. Dr. Sara DuMond founded the practice in 2011 with a clear purpose: bring the doctor's office to the family. The team handles acute sick visits on-demand, without memberships or retainers.

Five physicians staff the practice today, each board-certified in pediatrics or internal medicine and pediatrics. The team serves children ages 6 months and up for common childhood illnesses. Providers examine, diagnose, treat, and e-prescribe on-site. Beyond sick visits, the practice offers sports physicals, rapid strep and flu testing, nebulizer treatments, laceration repair, and in-home IV fluids. Virtual video visits and text e-visits extend access from early morning until late at night on most days. Families schedule online anytime through a real-time booking portal.
