Dr. Sara DuMondMD, FAAP

Sara DuMond, MD, FAAP founded Pediatric Housecalls in Charlotte in 2011 after seven years in a private pediatric group near Lake Norman. She graduated from West Virginia University Medical School in 2000 as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She then completed her pediatrics residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte in 2003.

Dr. DuMond holds board certification in pediatrics and fellowship status in the American Academy of Pediatrics. She also serves as a member of the NC Medical Society. org and served on advisory boards for American Baby Magazine, WebMD, and Little Ones Magazine. Outside the practice, she runs competitively and describes running as central to who she is. She and her husband have three children.
