Moon River Pediatrics offers two membership tiers. The insurance-based membership costs $75 per month for children five and older, $95 per month for children ages two to four, and $115 per month for newborns through 23 months. Families with multiple children pay a maximum of $275 per month regardless of how many children enroll. The DPC membership for self-pay or out-of-network families starts at $85 per month for children seven and older, with higher rates for younger age groups and a family cap of $325 per month. All plans include a one-time $150 enrollment fee per family.

The DPC membership covers all well checks, unlimited sick visits in-office or virtual, developmental and behavioral screenings, sports physicals, direct access to Dr. Alexander and Sam Bossak, newborn hospital visits, and lactation consults. There are no copays, hidden fees, or insurance bills. DPC members also receive discounts on labs and imaging when needed.

Yes. Moon River Pediatrics accepts most major insurances for wellness and sick visit billing under the insurance-based membership. Members pay a monthly membership fee in addition to any applicable insurance cost-sharing. HSA cards are accepted for membership fees.

Members contact Dr. Alexander and Sam Bossak directly through a members-only number via call, text, FaceTime, or by sending photos and videos. Extended access hours run Monday through Friday from 4:30 to 7:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to noon. For urgent issues outside those hours, an after-hours nurse triage service responds promptly.

Yes. Moon River Pediatrics offers same-day and next-day sick visits. The practice keeps its patient panel small to maintain scheduling flexibility. Sick visit appointments run 30 minutes, with longer slots available on request.

Moon River Pediatrics cares for patients from newborn through age 21. Dr. Alexander begins care at the hospital, rounding on newborns at Candler Hospital during the full newborn stay.

Yes. The practice offers virtual sick visits as part of membership. Members also reach Dr. Alexander and Sam directly by text, call, FaceTime, or by sending photos and videos, which allows care to start early even when an in-office visit is not immediately possible.

The practice offers lactation consults, medical ear piercing, a pediatric CPR course, and a seasonal community vaccine clinic open to members and non-members. Lactation consults are free for members and $75 for non-members for a prenatal consultation. Medical ear piercing costs $100 for members and $125 for non-members. The CPR course costs $55 for members and $65 for non-members.

Prospective families can schedule a free meet-and-greet visit to learn more before enrolling. After the meet-and-greet, a one-time enrollment fee of $150 per family applies. All family members in the same household may enroll under one family plan.

Yes. Members who need to cancel provide 30 days written notice. The practice accepts notice by text message.
