Mayimrapha Comprehensive Healthcare

Mayimrapha Comprehensive Healthcare offers two DPC membership tiers. DPC Basic costs $70 per month, plus applicable taxes and fees. DPC Plus costs $145 per month. Both tiers require a 6-month minimum commitment.

Both DPC Basic and DPC Plus include no visit copays for up to two visits per month, a free annual wellness exam, telehealth care, in-clinic care, discounted lab testing, discounted medications, and a free yearly health coaching visit. DPC Plus adds 45-60 minute visit times, a free annual naprapathic care visit, a free annual blood morphology assessment, and a free enhanced lab panel.

MCH accepts Presbyterian Medicaid and BCBS of NM Medicaid. The practice does not accept other insurance plans. Patients without accepted insurance can use MCH's self-pay schedule or enroll in a membership program. MCH can provide invoices for patients who wish to seek reimbursement from their own insurer, though membership fees are typically not reimbursable.

Medicare patients can receive care at MCH, but federal regulations prohibit Medicare from reimbursing membership fees or medical service costs paid at the practice. Medicare patients cannot submit reimbursement requests for charges incurred at MCH.

MCH charges no visit fees for up to two visits per month under DPC Basic or DPC Plus. Each additional visit beyond two per month costs $25 plus tax. Lab tests, specialist referrals, and emergency care outside the practice carry separate costs depending on your insurance or self-pay status.

Some HSA accounts cover Direct Primary Care membership fees. Contact your HSA provider to confirm whether your specific account allows reimbursement of DPC membership fees and other service costs at MCH.

MCH does not provide urgent care, emergency care, or hospital services. The practice refers patients to Albuquerque ER and Hospital for emergency and hospital care. Patients can also combine an MCH membership with a cost-share program to help cover emergency and advanced imaging costs.

Through its provider partners, MCH offers nutrition counseling, health coaching, neurofeedback therapy, blood morphology testing, and naprapathic care. These services operate alongside primary care in a single clinic setting. Christi Rein delivers nutrition coaching and blood morphology testing; Katie Schmierer provides functional nurse coaching and neurofeedback therapy.

MCH requires a 6-month minimum membership commitment. Canceling before six months results in forfeiture of certain free services included in the membership. Early termination may also result in penalties if you choose to re-enroll later.
