Yes. Membership at Lakeshore Concierge Medicine does not replace health insurance. The practice accepts most insurance types, including Medicare, for office visits, labs, x-rays, and other services. The annual membership fee covers enhanced access and amenities, and neither Medicare nor any other health insurance covers that fee.

Membership includes same-day and next-day appointment access, an annual executive-style physical, direct physician contact by phone, email, and text Monday through Friday, after-hours phone access, same-day prescription refills, and a 48-72 hour turnaround on medical forms. Members also receive on-time, unhurried appointments and enhanced scheduling support.

Yes. Members can contact Dr. Rexford by phone after hours, on weekends, and on holidays for urgent medical needs. During regular weekday hours, members reach him directly by phone, email, or text message.

Yes. The practice offers telemedicine visits for members. Dr. Rexford also provides continued physician access by phone or telemedicine for members during hospital stays.

Yes. Lakeshore Concierge Medicine offers house calls when necessary. Members can discuss this option directly with Dr. Rexford.

The practice covers family medicine, chronic disease management, wellness exams, skin exams, skin lesion removal, joint injections, pre-surgical exams, routine gynecologic care, outpatient colonoscopy for colon cancer screening, and upper endoscopy for swallowing difficulty. Dr. Rexford also offers the Galleri multi-cancer early detection blood test for eligible members.

The Galleri test is a blood-based multi-cancer early detection screen that looks for signals across more than 50 cancer types. Lakeshore Concierge Medicine offers this test to adults over 50 or those with elevated cancer risk. The test costs approximately $750 and does not replace standard cancer screenings. Dr. Rexford recommends it annually or biennially depending on individual risk.
